Welcome to my blog

This is my blog for posting random personal things such as my hobbies, projects, stories, etc. There’s no common theme here, just personal content. Don’t expect anything well-polished for the SEO overlords. I’m not focusing on revenue or being social media viral (I’ve had enough of that in the past). This just serves as an outlet for my experiences and knowledge to the world.

You can also expect to not see any politics - I majored in a politics-related field and I generally don’t talk about current events nor politics. A word of cuation for you though is that while I try to keep my posts politically clear, some bias may show through. That’s totally up to your interpretation, I don’t care. There’s no comments area so have fun.

Why a blog?

I don’t know - maybe I’m reminiscent of the 2000s and 1990s? Or I just don’t have very many social media accounts? I just think a simple blog would serve nicely to distribute my past experience and knowledge to the internet than anywhere else.

I did a dead simple setup - using Hugo to generate static site pages, pushed to Github, and subsequently automatically pushed to Firebase. Serverless so no little upkeep on my part needed. How often?

I will likely post here whenever I feel like it. Not promising a fixed schedule, but I might post once a week, once a month, or thrice a day. Who knows. There’s currently no alert feature, but maybe I will create one at some point? Newsletters sound fun too.

Anyways, thanks for reading through my first blog post. Just me blabbering about moving to the middle of the remote forest and being a menace to society through 2000s technology.
