Random bits of the day 04/26/2024

Weird dream

I had a weird dream last night where I became an archaeologist and got a trowel. Then I apparently stabbed someone with said trowel at some point. Don’t know, maybe I’ve been delving waaaaay too deep in the topic now 😅

Brewing a cappuccino

Turns out I’ve been brewing a double shot of espresso in my cappuccino this whole time and foaming milk too much, which has been ruining my milk foam art pours. Hoping to one day pour nice fancy flowers and hearts because that would be lovely.

Climbing

Today is another planned climbing day - as per my Friday tradition. Like I said before, I’ve had those V2s on my mind all week still and today is raining, so why not stay indoors and doo some bouldering. My hands have started to get calluses, so those might need to be flattened or sanded off to prevent some injury of sorts. Though I guess I’m part of the club now heh

Potential travel

Looking at potentially planning travel to visit some of the graduate schools on my list. Luckily some of them are local, while others are… er abroad. I might plan a one route trip through Switzerland, France, and Sweden to visit the potential graduate schools. I’m actually doing a proper job in researching where I want to go instead of irrationally diving into a school like I did in undergrad (story for another time).

Ease of use

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve added an RSS feed link at the bottom. I won’t be on any social media for my personal blog. It’s just a fun bit of writing.

I should also be including more images, depending on the bandwidth they’d take up, to show you all what some of the things I’ve been talking about.

Anyway that’s about it for the random bits so far today.
