Good Morning 05/01/2024
Yesterday
Yesterday was also a bit of a light day. It was raining and I didn’t feel too well, but I managed to get some climbing in for that day. I reached V3s again and finally sent my first one. Tried a few more and then went home before traffic became bad on the highways (as when it does after 15:00).
Beyond that not much else, just organizing paperwork and researching project items (archaeology, graduate school, software development things).
Plan for the day
Today is supposed to be sunny so I may go for a hike or fit my second climbing day in or hold off for Thursday’s climb night. I also have another archaeology training about soils and sediment identification, so that’ll be a fun evening activity.
I’m trying to finish through my future graduate school admissions essays, that way I can get them over to my peers for review ASAP. Along with that I’ve been writing a lot in my Swedish language practice notebook. It helps get concepts down and written, and I’ve been refreshing a few concepts (conjugations and prepositions).
Another thing I might do is pop into Downtown Portland for a day, just wander around and enjoy the sights and places. Something I haven’t done in awhile since moving here. We’ll see. I didn’t get much sleep again because daylight keeps shining through the curtains.
With pen and with keyboard,
Kathryn
